About Us

Kyokushin Kenbukai Shurenkan Dojo is a martial arts school, dedicated to the pursuit of budo karate. Rooted in Sosai Mas Oyama's Kyokushin Karate, our style, Kyokushin Kenbukai, was founded by Kaicho (Chairman) Tsuyoshi Hiroshige. This was the culmination of a life devoted to martial arts. Our mission is to spread authentic, Japanese karate and introduce students to the ideals of modern budo (martial ways).

Training at Kyokushin Kenbukai Shurenkan Dojo is designed to help you improve in myriad ways You will develop speed, power, and flexibility all while learning an effective form of self-defense. In addition, the strategies learned at the dojo (training hall) will provide you with the resources needed to successfully meet the challenges encountered in life. Whether it's at work, school, home, or on the street, students will benefit from the increased discipline, focus, confidence, and self-respect garnered on the mats.
